British Schools Fairs

Britain’s independent schools have a worldwide reputation for providing an excellent academic and all-round education, where children of all ages and abilities are able to thrive and become confident and articulate young adults.

British Schools Fairs take place in a number of locations and are attended by a select number of leading British boarding schools, representing a cross-section of the 2,500 independent schools in the UK.  This enables local families to meet the representatives of schools, catering for all abilities and talents, and to discuss their children’s future education.

A number of leading UK independent schools have been visiting the Cayman Islands since 2014; their success means that there will be another British Schools Fair on the island in 2018. The Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory, has a proud history of sending some of its best pupils to school in the UK: these pupils have the right of abode in the UK and have followed a British curriculum (to GCSE and A-Level) at the island’s schools.

For the past four years, a number of leading British independent schools have attended the long-established International Schools Fair Bermuda alongside their North American counterparts. Their appeal was borne out by the fact that in both years they were quite inundated with interested families over the two day events. As a result, British schools will once again be visiting the island in 2017. Bermuda, a British Overseas Territory, has a proud history of sending some of its best pupils to school in the UK: these pupils have the right of abode in the UK and have followed a British curriculum (to GCSE and IB level) at Bermuda’s schools.
